It's not too late. Exercise your rights and responsibilties and guarantee your ability to bitch. Either candidate, either party, but do it. Either way it goes, you will be part of history.
Here in Alexandria, it took about an hour and half this morning. We arrived at 7:10 and left at 8:30. All the election officials said they waited that long for when they arrived at 6. A good portion of our time was eaten up by a poor choice of beginning letter of our last name. A-D had a really long line and it moved slowly. Those folks next door with E-H just flew through. Had I known this, I would have given my dating options more thought, back in the day.
We had some pretty nifty voting computers
where you could scroll thru your choices and click to enter. A really short ballot: Presidential, one House seat and one Senate seat. No state or local referendums. No voting for head librarian or stem cell research. Nothing about a Mayor or smoking in public places. So it was a quick in and out once you got your PIN number for the machine.
