Serging again

YEA! I picked my serger up from G Street on Wednesday after a doctor's appointment nearby (ish). They cleaned, oiled and adjusted (?) it. Didn't say what they adjusted but it seems to have turned the trick. And it's much smoother and quieter. It's around 5 years old, but saw very action in those years, so I didn't think it should need much oiling, etc., but it appears to have enjoyed its time at the spa. I finally finished the napkins I started about 3 months ago - took me about 5 minutes to serge - rolled hem - the rest of the fabric into everyday napkins to use with the table I runner I made and never showed you. (I KNOW, I promised you more pictures. I KNOW!). And then started looking around my room for more things to serge. I made 2 safety glasses cases (just pouches, really) for my husband, made a pillow case for my son to go with the quilt - that's all the UT fabric I had left after all that I bought! And a throw pillow for my son with some more of the scrap - a wonky patchwork on one side, I didn't want to keep tons of scraps around. The glasses cases are UT fabric, too. And did a tiny bit of hand stitching on a skirt I made months ago, too. Seriously, that thing sat there for 3 months for want of 10 minutes of hand sewing. I'm pathetic.
It's just too hot to do anything outside today. The past few days were BEA-U-TI-FUL! Sunny, warm and loooowww humidity - really, when does DC ever have 20% humidity? But typical summer is back today with highs in the 90's and humidity creeping back up. So we rented a carpet cleaner to get rid of the Kacy spots in the bedroom and then I SERGED and cleaned up the sewing room. Next weekend I hope to make a couple of T shirts or a knit dress - I have fabric piled up everywhere with idea in mind. We'll see what come out of the room next weekend - it's another 3 day-er for me.
I hope all my Canadian readers (do I have any of those?) had a nice Canada Day - didja get to see Wills and Kate? And that my fellow Americans (US, that is) are having a great Forth of July weekend. I think we need to watch "The Patriot" tonight.

Ha Ha, I'm back

Well, just a little. But back. For about a year I was unable to blog from my work computer. Whether I was at home on it or at work. I could read it and read others' blogs but couldn't update or post a comment, etc. Then, suddenly, and without warning I was able to access it all again. What changed? And why?? Who knows.
So for a fast update and to assure you all that I neither died nor joined the circus (though I am tempted after reading "Water for Elephants").
I'm working on a quilt for my son - a personal request with a personal design. I will show it off after I'm done, but it's much larger than I'm used to working with and the fabric has had to be shipped to me - and not all at once. So it's taking a bit of time.
I did finish my table runner and made some placemats to go with. I was in the process of making napkins, too, when my serger decided to stop making the chain. Many, many hours of rethreading later in all configuration still results in no chain. So I think it's going in for a check up this weekend. How fortuitous that G Street's having a sale..
What else....? Used my trusty Jalie Tshirt pattern to alter a top and a dress from Kohl's that were just shaped oddly for me. I'm wearing the dress today and it's much betterer. It wasn't the size or amount of fabric, but where that fabric was on me. They were both Dana Buchmann. Anyone else have issues with her stuff fitting weird? That reminds me, I need a new white knit non-Tshirt...
And a couple of failed attempts at using border print knits for skirts. They've just turned out poorly and I think I'm done with that particular experiment. Eh, fabric was about $3 for each. C'est la vie.
Took a trip up to the Cape Cod area in May. Weather up there was still chilly and we wore sweaters the entire time. A side trip to the mother ship of Fabricmart.com was fun. I've made up a couple of the fabrics already, though I didn't buy a whole lot. MUST CLEAN OUT STASH CLOSET!
And, in case this isn't enough excitement for one blog posting, I put up curtains last weekend. Decided if it's going to be another 100 degree every freakin' day summer I needed to block out some of the afternoon sun. I'm quite proud of myself. I hung the rods and the curtains and cut one panel into 2 for smaller windows (I used blanket binding to finish the edge - worked perfectly) and hung up the curtains. In all, for 5 windows. I get a gold star.
Sorry, no pictures to be had, for various reasons. (1) my pictures aren't on my work computer. (2) I don't seem able to match up my camera, download cord and computer all in one room at the same time. (3) I'm flat lazy - or pooped from all that curtain hanging (4) so far behind in posting pictures that I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to start.
But, it was nice talking to y'all again. We should do it again sometime.

Play Date

Yesterday an on-line, sewing friend came over to play. The proposed purpose was to help me out with my serger - she has a very similar one, just the next newest model. And we've actually met a couple of times before when we both worked in Crystal City we'd have lunch occasionally. But yesterday she drove up to my house and we hung out in my sewing room. And talked and chatted. It was great to talk sewing with someone who's eyes didn't glaze over and knew that a blind hem didn't get you a tax deduction (oh, yeah, I've been finishing up taxes, too). And we did get around to setting up the sergers. She ran through how to set it up to cover stitch and chain stitch. And then I undid them a couple of times and redid them. I think I've got it down now and can get more out of my machine. It was a grand old time and no one ran with scissors. And in other serger news, I discovered a box in my garage late last night as I closed my garage door. Left by my mail man who brought it up the driveway and just dumped it there - that's what he does when something is too large for my box, just lays it somewhere in or near the garage (I've wondered if he's afraid of my dog?). Anyhoo.... it was the manual and technique book that came with/was purchased for MY SERGER! Yes, friends, it has surfaced and arrived at my house. So it has been a very sergical weekend. I've also been working on the free Viking project for March. I've gotten all the embroideries done, trimmed the blocks and have the strips in place between the blocks. I'll get the rest done today and on the table. The embroideries stitched out very nicely. It's a fun and pretty quick project after you get the embroideries stitched out - there are 4 of them and each of them takes about 20 minutes to stitch. Well, that's all for now - happy Sunday, spring is on it's way! And blogger is acting really oddly - it won't paragraph. So sorry about the run-on style. Grrrr!

Look out Expo, here we come!

I'm sitting at a hotel bar right now near the Seattle/Tacoma airport. Karent will be joining me in a bit and tomorrow morning we will hit the Puyallup Sewing Expo. I went to the one in Novi a couple of years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. This will be Karen's first venture into such a venue. We both have classes scheduled for early tomorrow morning and I have worked lots of shopping time into my schedule. On the hunt, primarily, for trims and notions though if I find a nice piece of faux fur... Emma Seabrook had some in Novi that I'm still sad I didn't buy. But since my fabric closet is full I really don't want to add to it right now. (Yeah, I know, check back later to see how strong I was when faced with row after row after row after row after row after row....).
I got a few photo's uploaded last weekend, though I didn't have time to post. Now I have loads of free time since Seattle's weather has just turned typical (yes, that means it's raining right now oops, spoke too soon, now the sun is shining through the rain - there must be a rainbow somewhere!). So, without further ado (and I am a big ado-lover):
The brown slacks that have been pining away on my table after the big pocket adventure. Or, in other terms, proof that I CAN and DID to those dang pockets. And why they couldn't just be skipped (though Lord knows I would have at one point). A bit of wonkiness at the waist band, but not too bad. The buttonhole went in first time and that may be a first. And a peek inside. Though the wool is pretty lightweight and (I think) blended with silk, I wanted a less heavy waist band. SOOOO glad I did this or I wouldn't have had enough fabric to do the pockets (3 times). Plus I love a bit of bling inside. I still have more of this fabric, too. I made a nightie out of it last year.
And, I've kept this under wraps. But I have a new addition to the family. Well, the sewing family. Introducing...... Lizzy. When I was kid and in trouble my dad would call me "Lizzy" - so when I heard that yelled, I ran. Oddly, he also called me that on the few occasions it fell to him to wake me up in the mornings. But now that he's gone, I think Lizzy needs to come out of hiding. She came from JA's the last time dress forms were on sale. Free shipping. She's not the highest tech form you'll ever see but I think she'll work well for me for a while. And, high on my list, her waist length was able to adjust enough for me.
Ok, I suppose I've rambled on enough for a while now. Even the dog is bored.
No, wait, she usually looks like this when I sew.

And now there's Sunday

Where I will spend about an hour re-cleaning everything my son and dog have touched since we got home last night. Then we will head out for lunch while they show the house today.
When we get back I will have to jump start my truck and you cannot come close to imagining how much I hate doing that. I'm terrified from start to finish of the whole process. I mean just about wet-my-pants scared. I hate doing it. If it will jump start, I will then have to take it to get fixed and wait while they fix it, as I have no ride home while they work on it. Did I mention how much I don't want to spend my Sunday doing this?
So yesterday we killed the time by eating lunch at a local bar/grill - (yes, Karen, TB's). Where my son polished off 36 chicken wings, my stomach hurts just thinking of it. And thanks to poor service it took about an hour. Then we got his hair cut. And then to the grocery store. All that only took about 2.5 hours so we went home and watched them look at our house. And secretly hoped for a pricing fight out in our front yard, as 2 of the "lookers" overlapped.
No pictures here. Unless you want to see my dead truck covered in ice in the driveway. bleck.

AAARRRGGGG

It's only Saturday and I'm pooped. I went to get one car inspected, yesterday (a day off for me) to start the stupid-hard registration process for Maryland. Spent an hour on the phone with my insurance agent (why????) to get it insured - this was the third phone call and still don't have that done (why???). Then my son and I went to see a movie - The Black Swan. I won't spoil it for anyone - but that's one weird movie. We enjoyed it, but was weird.

Now for today. We have 3 THREE 3 house showings today and one tomorrow. That means I just spent 4 hours cleaning and then will have to vacate the premises for 3.5 hours for the showings. What do you do for 3.5 hours with a dog and a paraplegic when it's 20 degrees outside? Seriously, I want to know? We started this when the question was "what do you do for 3.5 with a dog and a paraplegic when it's 95 degrees outside?" I'm some seriously tired of this. Last weekend was the only weekend since I moved into this house that I didn't spent a huge chunk of it cleaning furiously and then killing time. And only about 2 of them were in decent weather.

And, because this is - at its soul, a sewing blog. All this is cutting into my sewing time in a big way. I put the first stitching on the quilt binding yesterday. That is all.
Even the dog won't look at me.

Who's ready for Christmas?

Too soon?
But I was all geeked after lunch today. I've got my husbands main gifts motoring towards me compliments of UPS or the USPS - depending. My MIL's gifts are purchase and all the nieces and nephews gift cards are on my counter. My son's main gifts are in my car. The tree is up, and all the decorations I could find after 3 years and 2 moves are out. My grand niece's quilt only lacks binding. And I have Friday off, so all the extended family gifts will get mailed then. Right after my haircut. Jealous? Good, I needed that. Happy Holidays.

Nothing much...

Just a quick update, gotta keep up the readership, no?

We were up early this morning as there was a house showing from 10:30-12:30. I cleaned last night and finished this morning and we left and had a leisurely, early lunch. It isn't the custom for agents to leave their cards in this area but I know they were here: one of the males used my bathroom. Is is weird that this really bothers me? He could have put the seat down and I'd've never known. hmmmfffff.

I have my serger class this afternoon at G Street. The class is $85. How much for the fabric I find on THE WALL? Well, a girl's got to have something to sew on her new serger, doesn't she? Doesn't she? I need a loud "Hell, yeah!' here. Let me hear it!

And a sadder ending for the day's posing. My BFF's dog passed away this morning. She (the dog, not friend) hasn't been well this summer/fall and then slid fast this last week. She was much thinner and calmer when I visited earlier this month. It used to be hard for me to tell the difference between her 2 corgis, but this time it was sadly easy to pick Bridgett out. She still ran to the door to great you, but within a few minutes she was back under the bed. Then she was sick all night a few nights ago and has been with the vet since then. Karen had to go out of town so she was due to be boarded. My heart is with my friend who didn't get to say good-bye to her pet. I'm sorry, she will be missed.

And more...

I woke up this morning to a house that was 57 degrees (F), and had to turn on the heat to knock the chill off. So I figured I'd better post my summer time pictures before it was too late.
Just a few short weeks ago we went into Baltimore and had lunch and roamed around the Inner Harbor a bit. It was HOT! Too hot and almost made me sick. No shade, no breeze even on the water. Which left me thinking of ways to get cool.
First, I offer you the well ventilated car. Maybe they can afford doors for the winter?
The harbor was really busy that day, with a Navy ship pulling into port, lots of people hanging out and they all got hot. Well, most of them. There were a few that found a great way to chill. What do you think of their method? Made me wish I was 6 years old again. Bet they had ice cream, too.
I hope that you can click and grow this picture. Its a bush in our backyard that we've dubbed the bee tree. I can't believe how many bees and butterflies there are. About a mile away is a fruit/farm stand that sell honey from their own bees. Wonder if they're really MY bees? Kacy (the DOOOOGGG) loved snapping at the bees out there. Doubt the bees were as enthusiastic about her visits.
And finally, our transition into fall. A little football catch in the driveway. Kacy's mostest favorite game in the whole wide world. Does this dog look 10 years old to you? Yeah, me neither. And if you look really closely, you'll see the ice cream machine just at the car bumper. Yummm.
Tomorrow is my birthday, the age will remain a mystery. But, though its not pretty, it does beat the alternative. Anyway, I went to JoAnn's yesterday - cause I still had a 50% off coupon. Can't let those babies expire! So I bought a pair of Gingher scissors for $15 since I'd purchased my large cutting mat at 40% off. Love the coupons! For my birthday, my husband bought me - from the Viking gallery in the store (and not subject to the JA coupons, dang it) - a walking foot and a spring free motion foot. I should let him know....
Anyway, these feet forced me to find a new storage solution for my feet - so for $6 I got a bigger box, I like the ones they carry in the jewelry making area. I went home and put all my feet in the new box and played with the label maker. I do love me some feets. And some organization. FUN, FUN, FUN.
After that I put the walking foot on the machine and played a bit. Oh My GOD!!! This thing rocks! Seriously rocks. I've been fighting the boucle on the purple/black "Mondo" skirt because the fabric is spongy and just creeps along. Well, no more my friend! Slapped that waist facing on first time.
I bought a couple of coordinating fabrics for new place mats, too. I want to re-make my Bargello mats that, lets just say "didn't launder well" but that took way more time than I have. This will be 4 mats with 2 different sides and will make the binding out of the 2 fabrics.
And now the dilemma. Should I use my new walking foot to quilt these??? Or my new free motion foot? Ahhh, choices.....

Quiet Weekend

It was cold and rainy around here, especially today. I've lost my camera to computer cord so I can't post pics. (wonder if I left it at my son's? I thought I got everything.....). No sewing, though I drafted a bag to hold my knitting needles. How's that for being crafty? Did a little Christmas shopping yesterday. We're not doing much this year, going to Vegas for Christmas (sounds like a bad movie, I think). My son's gift is his car. We went to Best Buy this morning and bought each other computers. For years we've used our work computers for everything, but security is tightening around IT and loosening around job continuation so getting our personal stuff off work computers seems like a good idea. This is my first blog post from the new computer. Doesn't it smell new? Spent the day setting them up. I need a cord I have a work to transfer files from one to another. Sounds like a plan for tomorrow night. Then my photo's, embroidery files and tax data will be mine, all mine.
We bought Sony Vaio's, the same so we can share cords, etc. Apparently we picked the most popular model of the year, we had to go to 2 Best Buy's to get them and one still had been "Geeked" by the squad. (Warren was NOT happy about that, no sirree, Bob. Not happy at all).
Frogged and restarted Kevin's scarf. Couple of mistakes I just couldn't ignore and didn't know how to fix the cables. Warren keeps asking me why nothing I knit ever gets any bigger. How long would it take to knit a 6' shroud? And should I use worsted weight or chunky? Hmmm, given his recent weight gain, I should probably go with chunky.... I took some photo's of my yarn and the scarf, but, alas no way to get them to the computer.

Who knew?

This post has nothing of me in it other than I, along with I'm sure most of you, never knew stuff like this existed. And I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on this little lovely. Much less that it would sell out BEFORE I COULD MAKE MY CHRISTMAS PURCHASES!

This is truly a WTF item. In fact, it may be the creepiest item I've ever seen for sale. And I've been to Vegas, New Orleans and a college campus.

For those of you who ritually surf the blogs, you will recognize that I blatantly stole this from The Yarn Harlot who likely neither knows nor cares that I secretly lurk all over her website drooling on her woolen beauties. But it's not nice to steal with giving credit, so thanks Stephanie. And take a look at her Swirl Scarf if you surf over there. Pretty sure I've felted this one with my drool. (the link takes you to the pattern website. I like the photo of her's even better on her Nov 27, 2009 post - it looks softer and less structured - in a good way)
Oh, and because I want to share and gloat. I found season 2 of Project Runway yesterday at Staples. For $7.99. I didn't know they even sold videos. They did have an odd assortment, though, all on clearance in front of the checkout lane.
So, I've shown you creepy and pretty and made you pea green with envy (thanks, Scarlett, I DO so love that line) all in the same day. My work here is done.

Flash Back

I spent this weekend in DC, the first weekend I've been home since September. After a vicious Nor'easter pounded us during the week, today was 70 and sunny. Much like the weekend a couple of months ago when we hit the Farmer's Market in Old Town with my camera. Harvesting was at it's peak and there were the prettiest veggies to be found.

Let's start with picking a peck of pickled peppers. Or at least some really pretty pretty peppers. Then we'll follow up with my favorite color, purple. Aren't these the prettiest eggplants ever? They had all kinds, shapes, sizes and shades of purple. These were my favorite, with the stripes. This was a sampling of apples and pears. I thought the colors of the fruits on the blue plates was eye-popping. And the pear's weren't bad, either. I didn't get to eat but a couple before I left and they were gone before I hit town again. But the picture's still pretty! And anyone who knows me, knows I'm not a bean fan. My husband is obsessed with them and will even eat Lima beans (double bleck!) but there's no denying these are some pretty pods. I used to know their name but didn't get it down on "paper" fast enough and now it's gone. But aren't they cool?
And on our way home we walked by this house with their front garden in full bloom. Spilling onto the sidewalk and crawling up the house. It still hasn't frosted in Northern Virginia, yet, and there are flowers still out there, but there's also this - the leaves of fall.

I'm headed back to Detroit mid-week. My son will graduate in December and hopefully we can move on some then. We've been house hunting. Maybe found something, but it's a short-sale so it won't be speedy. I'm ready to move back home. But since I'm forced from home and my sewing machine I had to have something to do. So, I'm working on a new hobby. I'll fill you in on the next post, when I can offer some photo's of the new works of art (snort!).

Thanks for tuning in and sharing my fall walk with me. Sorry there's no sewing, but I did offer some pretty, pretty pictures. And the post that used the word "pretty" a record number of times. Or pretty close, anyway.

Holy Smokes!

BetsyV suggested I email Kenneth King directly concerning my search for hairy mohair. I figured, "what the heck, what can it hurt?" Well, he answered me! Quickly, in fact. I sent my request last night about 10:30 and his response was in my box when I got to my office this morning. I am SOOO Cool. And you guys knew me when.

I get mine at a place in NewYork called “Fabrics for less” on 38th Street.
I’ll be bringing some pre-cut strips to the class, though....Kenneth

to the Expo and hope to learn a lot of Cool Tricks.

Ladybug, Ladybug

Sorry, all. The Ladybug was a gift purchased at a farmer's market in a small town in Southwestern, Virginia. It is made from wool from the seller's sheep and quite cute, I agree. I had to add eyes, things without eyes kind of creep me out (years ago someone gave me the Micky-D's Beanie Baby "Lizzie the Lizzard", as my name is Elizabeth - it hung out on my cube wall like any self respecting lizard would do, but I had to put push-pins on for eyes. Those pale cave fish are kind of freaky, too). And the nose just followed. That was when I really saw the porcupine in it, with all the pins everywhere.

What do you get...

When you cross a lady bug and a porcupine?

Say what? You talking to me? Eh? Somebody say "Pork?"

You get a porcubug:

Way off topic

This has nothing to do with sewing or even my life. So you can all breathe a big sigh of relief. But I saw this today on the Internet and just think it's sooo cool.

Codex Sinaiticus
Codex Sinaiticus is one of the
most important books in
the world. Handwritten well over 1600 years ago, the
manuscript contains the
Christian Bible in Greek, including the oldest
complete copy of the New
Testament. Its heavily corrected text is of
outstanding importance for the
history of the Bible and the manuscript – the
oldest substantial book to survive
Antiquity – is of supreme importance for
the history of the book

It was made public today by a group of antiquarians from (Mostly) Britain, Russia and Germany. You can read more about it here.
The entire text, as still exists, is now digitized and translated into English, Russian, German and (I think) modern Greek. The text is in Greek. You can do a request on a specific passage by Book, Chapter and Verse and get the image and a translation. It includes some texts that are not included in the modern Bible and some texts are missing.
I will warn you that the web site has seen a lot of traffic today and is very image heavy (duh..) so it's a little on the slow side. But sooo fascinating. Enjoy.

I'm not a very religious person, but I am an avid historian and I just think this is awesome. In the true meaning of the word.

I am so bored!

How bored am I? So bored that I ran 2 miles and worked out. Yep. THAT bored. Really, that's good news, Kevin's doing so well that he really doesn't need much. He slept late this morning, got up by himself, had a friend over. I went to Target (and bought running shoes and clothes), the bank and McDonald's.
Tomorrow I will go to the eye doctor and get my hair cut. 3 years in DC and I still haven't found an Optomotrist or hairdresser. (Or OB or dentist, either, for that matter. I'm on the dentist' cancellation list for next week). Maybe I'll get the oil changed in my truck, too. And buy some bras.
I got my desk set up to work/sew better and am watching way too much TV. NCIS is top on the list. I've never watched this series and my son's currently into it. So I'm watching with him. I even watched Little House on the Prarie. Fortunately, I no longer use that show as my fashion inspiration. Improvement. (If you're keeping score, The Waltons are no longer on my list, either).
I'll make it back to JoAnn's this weekend with my fabric postcard supply list. And I'm thinking of making some lounge bottoms. Exciting stuff, I know. But I'm pretty much done with the 15 year old pair from Old Navy with the safety pin in the back.
So, are you as bored reading this as I was writing it? Sorry.

A quict and non-sewing update

I drove to Detroit yesterday, quite uneventful and rather quickly. I left at 9 am and pulled into Kevin's parking lot at 6 pm. I tend to just DRIVE when I'm alone, so I did. 2 stops, once for gas and food. And once for an ATM when I realized I didn't have enough cash to get my car off the Ohio Turnpike (why can't they use EZPass like everybody else?) . And Karen, I got smart and velcro'd the EZPass to my windshield since I didn't have a side-kick to hold it up for me. (In Pennsylvania).

Today we went shopping: Kroger, Target and Best Buy. I got him a larger shelf unit for CD's and DVD's so I'd have a place on the sofa. Then I had to build the darn shelf. Whew! At least he has good tools for the job. It only took us about an hour (us, HA!). I made a quick run at JoAnn's, but just wasn't inspired, so I went on to Kroger.

Of course I have the usual clean up to do. I love my son, but he's a pig. Plain and simple.

Not to worry, all. He's 26 miles north of the center of Detroit and quite safe. We lived here for 14 years and he stayed when our jobs moved us to D.C. The JoAnn's is a nice one (includes a Viking outlet with lots of feet for my new fetish) and Haberman's is only about 1/2 hour away (even less from the hospital). I need to do some research and see what I need for the Fabric post cards . I have my fabric, but that's all. Sometime over the next couple of days I'll have to move his school desk to the dining room for me to work and sew on. Scoot it in next to the weight machine I should use.

His surgery is at 10 in the morning. He's looking at probably a 2 day stay and then home. We chose a closer hospital to home this time, so I'll be able to come and go better. May even get to sleep in a bed on Tuesday. Hey, it could happen.

Next project.

Thank you all for cheering on my tossing decision. Somethings are just better off gone. The next project is a knit shirt, NewLook 6470, view D, the wrap on the top right. I'm using the fabric I thought was a mistake from Fabric.com , my mistake - not theirs. I just had no clue what to do with this. But the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. And it all came together today. It's cut and marked, I don't know how much more I'll get done this weekend. My son's visiting.
We (Son and I) went to see "State of Play" this afternoon. Really a good show. Very intense, not scary or bloody or violent or action-packed. But very good, don't blink drama. I give it 4.5 of 5 stars, Son gives it 5 - he may go see it again. "very suspenseful, keeps you entertained", per the Son. It's not brand new out, so will likely hit the Netflix and PPV scene soon.
Planning on Italian for dinner in Old Town.
It finally FINALLY FINALLY quit raining. It's a beautiful day here in Northern Virginia, a little cloudy now, but warm and nice. Ahhhh.

Done

So that you, my adoring fans, can all rest easily tonight, the icky brown pants are down the trash chute in a bag with a pinapple top, some junk mail and some chicken skin. A fitting end. The sewing room is purged of the icky brown funk never to be seen again. Though I did keep the pocket linings and interfacing for the next pair. Next up? Summer dress, cute skirt, quilt?
