DH was out of town last night, so instead of cooking dinner, cleaning up the kitchen and watching him sleep in front of the History Channel (dear god, how I'd like to block that station!), I:
1. cut out the PJ bottoms - sorry I have no photo yet of this fabric, it just makes me smile.
2. cut out the trim for the PJ bottoms. It's a contrasting fabric in both texture and color. Remember I was "inspired" by either American Eagle or Abercrombe & Fitch (the quotes are due to the questionably of either of these 2 establishments to produce true inspiration).
3. Traced the BWOF top for the PJ top. Note: I need more tracing paper.
4. Cut out the fabric. This was from stash, so I feel quite proud of myself.
5. Determined that I don't have enough knit left for a t-shirt for my niece. I was surpised! Maybe sleevelss for summer? Huh.
6. Walked the dog - twice. Truly, this is in my best interest.
7. Watched a nauseating amount of TLC. Yeah, I lost the remote for a while in the frenzy
So, I now have 3 garments ready to sew (skirt, PJ bottoms, Tee Shirt). My dining room table is cleaned off of the cutting mess. My sewing room is still clean - I folded all my cut items and put them on the now clean shelf. My carpet has no dog stains and I know what it's like to take 6 four year olds to the dentist. Can it get any better than this?
Frenzy indeed. You've done more in two days than I've managed in two weeks! K
