Support Stem Cell Research
In an instant lives are changed forever, with Stem Cell Research we can turn back time. It's too late for us, but there are millions of others that need this. Do your own research, make up your own mind, don't depend on what others say, and imagine your life in a wheelchair full of pain with no hope of ever dancing again.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Who knew?

This post has nothing of me in it other than I, along with I'm sure most of you, never knew stuff like this existed. And I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on this little lovely. Much less that it would sell out BEFORE I COULD MAKE MY CHRISTMAS PURCHASES!

This is truly a WTF item. In fact, it may be the creepiest item I've ever seen for sale. And I've been to Vegas, New Orleans and a college campus.

For those of you who ritually surf the blogs, you will recognize that I blatantly stole this from The Yarn Harlot who likely neither knows nor cares that I secretly lurk all over her website drooling on her woolen beauties. But it's not nice to steal with giving credit, so thanks Stephanie. And take a look at her Swirl Scarf if you surf over there. Pretty sure I've felted this one with my drool. (the link takes you to the pattern website. I like the photo of her's even better on her Nov 27, 2009 post - it looks softer and less structured - in a good way)
Oh, and because I want to share and gloat. I found season 2 of Project Runway yesterday at Staples. For $7.99. I didn't know they even sold videos. They did have an odd assortment, though, all on clearance in front of the checkout lane.
So, I've shown you creepy and pretty and made you pea green with envy (thanks, Scarlett, I DO so love that line) all in the same day. My work here is done.

  1. OMG that is truly the most hideous thing I've ever seen. Don't know if I want to gag or laugh.

  2. Oh what a shame our stringent customs importation laws would prevent me shipping this piece. What were they thinking?

  3. I give up, what the heck is that thing? Or do I really want to know? I even put on my glasses... Keychain? Good luck charm? Voodoo doodad? backscratcher? And where the heck do you shop anyway? I think you need to go back to work :) K

  5. To think that these Squirrel's Feet Earrings are all sold out. Who would buy and who would wear them? I am sure the squirrel would have rather kept them. Creepy and depraved.

  6. Squirrel Feet Earrings are right up there with Pit Bull Bones (yes those are on Etsy too!). I'm just impressed that you're still sane after experiencing a college campus!
