I noticed a few folks seem to think the issue with the zipper is that it is installed too "high" and the pull is above the seam line. No, I do that on purpose to put it in smoothly. No, look closely, friends. At the top of the zipper. Now where, where, where would you pull this down into? Where? Again, how did this happen? I don't think I could repeat it if I tried (but will likely do so if I don't try). Interesting, no?
Sooooo, tell me your stupidest/funniest sewing or knitting boo-boo. Be honest here, no "cut 2 right sleeves" crap. Give me the good stuff. The zipper enclosed in the fly, the one leg sewn up upside-down stuff. The sock with two heels. Come on, I know you've done it. Let's hear it.
I was making a blouse that had gathers at the hemline of the sleeve. I sewed that into the armsythe.
ReplyDeleteI did an absolutely perfect invisible zipper -- upside down.
