I had to pop over to get my web addy for a post to K, so I may as well do a little typing. I've been using K's sewing machine since I picked it up on Saturday. It sews really nicely, and they seem to have fixed the problems. I've enjoyed working with it. I still need to go back and pick mine up where it coughed up a big hair ball.
I'm going to Detroit this weekend, first time in a while K's going to pick me up and we'll go to dinner on the way home. Will have dinner with friends on Saturday night, too. Maybe see a movie, need to some backyard clean up.
I cut out a skirt and top yesterday, got most of the top put together tonight. Need to make a little adjustment to the front bust. The gathers are just in the wrong place. Period. That's for next week I guess. And the skirt. Probably 2 more night's work. Both are easy-sleasy. Ready for summer, I guess. Wish my camera was working, I'd post some pics.
Did I mention that Starbuck's got robbed Sunday night? We live right above it and I was looking out the window Sunday night and saw the police cars, the K-9 unit, etc. I think they've caught the guy. Little scarey, though.
