Ok, and at long last, here are the much awaited pics of my skirt. Photography lacks something, as I have no full length mirror or assistance. But overall, I liked the way it turned out. I got a couple of suggestions from SG for the belt loops and I'll probably try making them from a black fabric & top stitch the plaid to it. They' will be wider, but I think that may even be better. That will stabilze the belt in the right place. Stitching on the loops will help stabilize the facing, too. If I make this again, I may try stays in the waist to help the shaping.
