The Natalie Dress

I took a day off sewing for me and made a quick dress for my niece. Actually my grand-niece, but that makes me feel too old. She's the first of the next generation. I only have a son, so I've never gotten to sew little girl clothes, so this was a first. And it was FUN!
I used S5936 - there's a full review at PR - and some of the fabric left from my McCall's dress (finished but for some hand stitching and photographing). I hope to get a picture back of her in the dress. It's really soft, easy to wash and so darn cute! I just loved making this, it was so fast and easy and takes no fabric. I still have a ton of this stuff left. Final shot is of the yolk with the 3 buttons I put on for fun.

    Beth what a cute dress. I'm sure she'll love it and will look darling in it. Sewing for little girls is such fun!
