I am so bored!

How bored am I? So bored that I ran 2 miles and worked out. Yep. THAT bored. Really, that's good news, Kevin's doing so well that he really doesn't need much. He slept late this morning, got up by himself, had a friend over. I went to Target (and bought running shoes and clothes), the bank and McDonald's.
Tomorrow I will go to the eye doctor and get my hair cut. 3 years in DC and I still haven't found an Optomotrist or hairdresser. (Or OB or dentist, either, for that matter. I'm on the dentist' cancellation list for next week). Maybe I'll get the oil changed in my truck, too. And buy some bras.
I got my desk set up to work/sew better and am watching way too much TV. NCIS is top on the list. I've never watched this series and my son's currently into it. So I'm watching with him. I even watched Little House on the Prarie. Fortunately, I no longer use that show as my fashion inspiration. Improvement. (If you're keeping score, The Waltons are no longer on my list, either).
I'll make it back to JoAnn's this weekend with my fabric postcard supply list. And I'm thinking of making some lounge bottoms. Exciting stuff, I know. But I'm pretty much done with the 15 year old pair from Old Navy with the safety pin in the back.
So, are you as bored reading this as I was writing it? Sorry.

  2. I'm sure you've probably addressed this before but what is the significance of your photo and tagline? I'm interested but don't want to offend. If you want to discuss it, please do. Thanks!

  3. Do you have the December 2007 BWOF lounge/PJ pants pattern? I swear it's the best one I've ever tried, and let me tell you I've sewn up a ton of PJ pants patterns in my sewing life! ;-) Let me know if you want me to send you a tracing of it! I always find other lounge pants bottoms slide down in the back, or are too baggy, etc.

And hooray that he's doing so well! I hope it continues.
