In an instant lives are changed forever, with Stem Cell Research we can turn back time. It's too late for us, but there are millions of others that need this. Do your own research, make up your own mind, don't depend on what others say, and imagine your life in a wheelchair full of pain with no hope of ever dancing again.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
RIP
Farrah Fawcett
Michael Jackson
A rough day. It's just odd to know that neither of them are part of this world, now. They've always been there. Both were a little quieter in recent years, but were always there. May they both find peace and health.
They were both offered so much in such different ways. It is hard to believe they are both gone. I have always felt so sorry for MJ because of the way he was thrust out into the world by an overzealous dad who probably abused him as well. I think it is sad that he has so little self esteem that he thought he had to continually change his appearance. He was so talented, it is hard to understand why he would want to change anything. I also think it is sad that FF was known mostly for her beauty and sexiness. She has proven that there was so much more to her. The documentary that she did throughout her cancer trials has proven that.
Strange how we remember phases of life by the music and movies of the time. I remember watching FF on TV in my dorm room, I didn't buy the poster but I did get the haircut. MJ was my age so we "grew up together." I don't know how many times I saw that Thriller video when MTV was still a novelty. I'll remember the news last night, just like I remember when I heard John Lennon was dead, and John Belushi, and Elvis. K
i've decided what I'm going to make but it will be a few weeks before I get the chance so bear with me. I will send it to you. I hope your son is doing better.

It's hard to be a baby boomer and lose two icons like this.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. What a shocker in both cases. God bless!
